Because of your generosity, and the Foundation’s $1,000 matching commitment, we are proud to share that a total of $3,592 was raised in support of the Bilodeau family through our Emergency Relief Campaign.
These funds will be delivered within one week to provide immediate financial relief while Jason continues his recovery.
This campaign marks an important step in our expanded mission to support Maine families facing sudden hardship. We are deeply grateful to everyone who donated, shared, and stood alongside this family.
Jason's Story: 2/24/26
On January 30th, Jason Bilodeau of South Paris, Maine suffered a sudden cardiac event while working on a job site. He was placed in a medically induced coma for two days and underwent heart surgery to have a defibrillator implanted. While Jason is now home and beginning cardiac rehabilitation, he remains out of work for an unknown period of time.
As a self-employed carpenter and primary provider for his family, which includes his spouse and four children, this unexpected medical emergency has created significant financial hardship. His recovery will require time, rest, and continued medical care.
The Maine Strong Memorial Foundation has launched this designated Emergency Relief Fund to the Bilodeau Family During Jason’s Recovery. This fund is intended to help with immediate and ongoing needs during this difficult time.
As part of this effort, the Foundation will match the first $1,000 in donations to help initiate immediate support. This relief fund reflects our expanded mission to assist Maine families facing sudden, life-altering events.
Every donation made through this campaign will go directly toward supporting the Bilodeau Family.
Your generosity makes a meaningful difference during an impossible moment. Thank you for standing with the Bilodeau Family and for showing what it truly means to be Maine Strong.
