WHERE WILL YOUR DONATIONS GO?
20% of net proceeds from Foundation events are invested into the Maine Community Reinvestment Fund, which supports educational, training, certification, and career advancement opportunities for those impacted by the tragedy. The remaining proceeds support the Foundation’s Emergency Relief efforts, helping ensure we can respond quickly when Maine communities face tragedy, disaster, or unexpected hardship.
ABOUT OUR ANNUAL SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT
The Maine Strong Memorial Softball Tournament began in 2023 following the Lewiston tragedy as a way to honor those affected and support victims, survivors, and their families. Since then, it has grown into the Maine Strong Memorial Foundation’s signature annual event, bringing together teams, families, businesses, and supporters from across Maine for a weekend of remembrance, resilience, and community.
Today, the tournament continues to honor the lives impacted by October 25, 2023, while helping build a stronger future for Maine. Twenty percent of net proceeds from Foundation events are invested into the Maine Community Reinvestment Fund, which supports educational, training, certification, and career advancement opportunities for those impacted by the tragedy. The remaining proceeds support the Foundation’s Emergency Relief efforts, helping ensure we can respond quickly when Maine communities face tragedy, disaster, or unexpected hardship.
