Welcome to the 3rd Annual Maine Strong Memorial Softball Tournament! Below, you’ll find all the details you need to know about our gameplay format, including pool play, bracket advancement, and where to access the latest updates.​​​

Games will be played at:

• Ron Morin Memorial Fields (formerly Randall Road) - 381 Randall Rd, Lewiston, ME 04240

• Joe Walker Memorial Field & Tricia Asselin Memorial Field (formerly Pettengill Park) - 48 Pettengill Park Rd., Auburn ME 04210

Gameplay Rules

We are following the 2025 USA Softball Official Rules with the following modifications listed here.

Pool Play (Saturday)

• Teams: All teams will be selected into 7 groups ("Pools").

• Games: Each team in the pool will play a minimum of 3 games against other teams in their group.

• Advancement: After pool play on Saturday, all teams will advance to bracket play on Sunday. Bracket placement is determined by results from pool play.

Bracket Play (Saturday & Sunday)

• Bracket Structure:

  • Upper Bracket: Top teams from each pool will advance to the upper bracket and compete for the championship.

  • Lower Bracket: Teams that do not place in the top of their pool will advance to the lower bracket and continue gameplay for a separate title.

• Bracket Updates: You can view the live bracket on our website as it’s updated throughout the weekend.

Important Reminders:

• Please be ready to play 30 minutes before your scheduled time. When it is your time to take the field, it is not time to warm up, it’s time to play. There will be no 5-minute warmups. Games will start promptly.

• This is a charity tournament and there will be a zero tolerance towards any umpire slander. These are volunteers and will be treated with respect.​​​
